The Opportunity
We have a permanent full-time opportunity available for a Digital Farming Specialist in all locations (Temora, Wagga Wagga, Griffith and Albury/Wodonga).
Our Digital Farming Specialist will play a crucial role in delivering Intersales Digital and Precision Farming Strategy to internal stakeholders and customers. This role will focus on enhancing the customer experience and market adoption of CNH’s digital farming platform, FieldOps, alongside CNH’s Precision Farming offerings.
This role involves a hands on approach in assisting customers daily in integrating and optimizing precision farming solutions to maximise efficiencies and profitability across their farming enterprises. The Specialist will provide training, troubleshooting, and ongoing support to internal stakeholders and customers to maximize customer satisfaction and performance and drive Intersales forward in the digital farming era. This role requires a customer first mentality in delivering a best-in-class experience.
This position requires the successful candidate to have the ability to work autonomously with effective time management skills, the ability to work unsupervised, as part of a team and have excellent presentation skills. A background in working in agronomy, farm machinery dealership or on farm would be beneficial. This role will be provided with on-going on the job training of CNH’s digital farming platform and broader product offerings.
Skills and Qualifications

Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree or technical certification in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, electrical or a related field (preferred, but no essential).

Alternatively, a significant background in agricultural machinery with exposure to precision farming technologies will be strongly considered.

Experience:
-
Ideally 5+ years of experience in the agricultural machinery industry with an exposure to precision technology.

Proven experience in customer-facing roles with a track history in establishing trusted working relationships with customers.

Skills & Knowledge:

Understanding of precision technology systems and the value proposition behind them.

Proficient in using Microsoft 365 operating systems.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey value propositions and training materials.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership and initiative.

The ability to manage numerous priorities at any one time.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.
