Company History
Intersales was originally established in the 1950’s trading as LA Sales selling and servicing International Harvester.
The current trading name of Intersales was adopted in 1970. The year 1976 saw employees David Carruthers and Brian Matthews take ownership. Tragedy struck in 1980 when Brian was killed in a plane crash, leaving his wife Helen to take over Brian's ownership interest with David. This also offered the opportunity for Peter Heinrich to take an ownership interest. The three business partners formed a formidable team over many years.
In 2001 Intersales expanded with the purchase of the CASE IH dealership in Leeton, NSW. David sadly passed away in 2004 and his interest was then acquired by Helen and Peter. This was followed by the retirement of Helen in 2012, leaving Peter the sole owner of the business.
Fast forward many positive years to 2017, when Peter approached five senior staff and made an offer to them to take up an ownership interests which they were only too happy to agree. Trevor Morton, Greg Woolner, Carina FitzPatrick, Adam Blachut and Mitchell Price along with Peter are all now Principals within the successful Intersales Business.
2018 Intersales extended its fabrication, manufacturing and machining arm of the business with the purchase of Cleverdon’s Steel Constructions on Goldfields Way, Temora. Intersales Comb trailers, which have been manufactured since 1996, moved to the new location, and silos have been added to their extensive range of products. 2019 has seen Intersales expand to 3 more Case IH Dealerships in southern NSW and with this acquisition the Intersales footprint has more than doubled in size. This great opportunity has allowed the organisation to enhance its product, parts and service offering for the benefit of customers now and into the future.
Our past success can be measured by winning Case IH Dealer of the Year in 2016, 2010, 2004, 2002 and 1997. Sales Dealer of the year 2020, Service Dealer of the year in 2018, 2003, Leader in Finance in 2009.
